BUMPER PULL HORSE TRAILERS
The bumper pull is an economical option for hauling up to three horses. This trailer is the best option when you do not have the open bed hitch capabilities for a gooseneck trailer; or if you want to leave the bed for other storage. Available in both straight and slant load options, you can make your selection based on the ideal load preference of your horses. The nose of some models may also include a dressing room that can be used for supply storage.

GOOSENECK HORSE TRAILERS
If you desire maximum towing stability and ease of maneuverability when turning or parking, the gooseneck trailer is for you. Goosenecks also have the capacity to provide sleeping and storage space in the nose area. You can have this nose area converted into living quarters which include bedding, full kitchen, and bath facilities. You can haul up to ten horses and have up to a twelve foot short wall that provides maximum living space in the nose area. Goosenecks also increase the weight load you can safely pull without possibly having to upgrade your current truck, which can also extend the life of your tow vehicle. To pull a gooseneck you must have an open bed truck with a special truck-bed hitching system.
Always check your vehicle’s towing capacity before making a final decision on the right horse trailer for you.

STRAIGHT LOAD
For horses accustomed to being hauled facing forward, this is a more economical option. Typically available for two horses, today fewer of this type unit is purchased except for use when traveling shorter distances and for horses that are not prone to panic due to feeling entrapped. Straight load trailers tend to be typically preferred by more experienced horses that are comfortable with balance and are accustomed to the forward-back motion of the straight load configuration. Tack areas are generally in the front area for extra storage.
SLANT LOAD
Slant loads are more often the preferred choice because horses more easily balance when standing diagonally. The longer the trailer, the more horses that can be hauled. The rear of the trailer includes a tack area in addition to the front nose storage or living quarters. Side escape doors help with ease of unloading and swinging dividers are removable for easy cleaning.
HORSE CAPACITY
Horse trailers are built with the capacity to haul two to ten or more horses. Depending on the heavy-duty capacity of your tow vehicle and the number of horses you plan to travel with on your own or with friends, you should consider longer term needs when making your purchase. An aluminum trailer will last many years in meeting your hauling needs and will better hold its resale value should your future needs change.
