At the age of 4 years old I tagged along with my Mom to barrel races and I had my own horse who taught me how to ride, one day I wanted to run in the barrel race to my mom was unsure if they would let me, as no other 4 year olds were locally entering open barrel races, loaded my horse and hoped they would enter me. That day was the start of my barrel racing career. I won two youth championships that year on a grade horse named Ace. The night I was presented with our first buckle my horse Ace coliced and died. I had lost my best friend and as tough as it was it taught me early on to respect my partner for anything could happen without warning. I have won numerous NBHA 1D championships for the seasons from 2014 through present as now I am 13 years old and have really developed into a consistent jockey. I am not really into training young horses, but I do enjoy fixing problem horses and making them shine. I have three consistent 1D horses and in the last 4 years I have had the opportunity to travel to bigger barrel races and compete with quality horses and jockeys and place and win money at the big shows including top 16 pf the All American Youth 2015 and 2016, Making Finals at the NBHA Youth World Championships, 2016 NBHA AL State Show I was 2nd in the 1D on a mare owned by Kim Jones “Cubano Bugs” in round one, and I have won the average at several Platinum Barrel Races along with winning money at the Down South Productions Shows in Hattiesburg, MS. I have a 2016 Lakota Charger 4 horse trailer that we love and it is my primary trailer.
