BIO

Hi, my name is elena, I’ve been riding since I was 10 and competing since I was 11. My first horse was Stormy, a 19 year old gelding who I showed in 4-h shows. We retired him two years later at the age of 21, when we purchased Legacy as 5 yr old in 2011, she was trained in only western pleasure, so we started from the beginning on the pattern. Two years after buying her, we were competitively running in WI at IBRA and NBHA shows. We started in the 4D. Our first year at IBRA state finals we won the 4D open. In 2014 legacy won us a belt buckle at the Carney Round-Up Rodeo. Now in 2016 she is consistently placing in the 1D and 2D. Spring of 2016 we purchased Gator from my trainer Lisa Novak. It took a few months for us to get together. This summer we have won multiple 1D checks. my favorite win was at one of our local arenas, because we were able to win while running with my niece. At the 2016 WI IBRA state finals we ended up placing 2nd in the 1D youth.
One of my role models is Lisa Novak. I would not be where I am today without her pushing me to achieve my goals, and helping me see the true potential in each of my horses. We are truly blessed to have found a trainer who truly cares. Also I would like to thank my parents and brother Rob for all the support they have given me and allowed me to pursue my dreams.
