Hi, my name is Gretchen Lobben, and I’m a 15 year old barrel racer from MN, and I am so excited to be able to have an opportunity like this. I had never experienced so much joy until the day I gave barrel racing a try 4 years ago…I was hooked! The whole community of people and the whole vibe was so easy to become addicted to. However, the death of my horse in April 2016 slowed me down a bit. Luckily, my incredible trainer has given me the opportunity to be able to ride and compete on her old rodeo horse who lead her to many victories in her competitive rodeo days, even almost to the NFR! Me and Louis have just started working together this past summer and fall, and we qualified for our first WSCA championship show on our first run together ever! but I can’t wait to see where our future will take us. I would love to end up going far in NBHA, UBRA, and WSCA with this horse. I am so unbelievably lucky to be able to work with an animal with such raw talent and generosity. I wish you all the best of luck to you and your horses 🙂
