My name is Jenna Grafenauer and I am 20 years old. I live in the beautiful Washington State. I have been riding my whole life, and barrel racing for about 6 years. During my career, I have won a buckle and two saddles. I am a member of the WBRA (Washington Barrel Racers Association) and the NBHA. In 2013, I took 4th in the WBRA youth finals as well as getting a year end award in my NBHA district. In 2015, I was the WBRA youth champion. I was also the saddle winner for a series called Friday Night Lights during the summer of 2016.
One of my favorite things about barrel racing is the people you meet and the friends you make along the way. I have made many lifelong friends over the past 6 years all thanks to barrel racing. I was lucky to meet my trainer, who is also my role model, Jackie Gudmundson. She has taught me everything I know about barrel racing and without her, I wouldn’t have accomplished what I have. She is currently helping me reach my ultimate goal of going to the NFR.
