BIO

Hello, my name is Kelsey Hallin your current Miss Wisconsin High School Rodeo Queen. This year has been an amazing year for me as a rodeo queen, barrel racer, pole bender, goat tyer, breakaway roper, team roper and horsewoman. 2016 has been a remarkable year for me starting on January 1; I set out to be a better, more confident me ready to chase my dreams. Just a year ago I was only competing in the barrel racing and pole bending with distant hopes of being a rodeo queen one day. Throughout the year I have followed my heart, pursuing whatever dreams I had. I am on the right track to have a 2017 National High School Finals qualification in multiple events, preparing to run again for the title of Miss WHSR this upcoming spring and achieving my dreams little by little each weekend getting closer to my gold buckle dreams in Las Vegas. Though this year has been record setting for me, it is not my first brush with success. To name a few, in 2013 I made my first NBHA World qualifications. In 2014 I was the year end NBHA Youth 1D champion along with 5 more NBHA World qualifications. In 2015 I was the Showtime Arena year end youth 1D champion pole bender, the youth 1D champion barrel racer, the Boots Bits and Spurs Invitational youth 1D champion along with more NBHA world qualifications. With so much success already in the books, the only place you will find me is in the practice pen trying to make this coming year better than the last!
