Primary Horse’s Name: Ali’s Poko Pride
My name is Megan Montgomery and I am from a small town called Newfield, NJ. I was born on October 14th, 2000. I have been riding competitively since 2007. I started with local game shows and now I am apart of the PHSRA. One of my accomplishments I take pride in is winner the GHANJ All-Around award and winning state champion pole bending for 4-H in 2015. One of my goals is to place top 3 in the PHSRA and make it to nationals for HSR. My role model is my mother Danielle Montgomery because she is so self driven and had made a name for herself out of very little and made it so I could achieve my goals. My horses name is Ali’s Poko Pride but we call him Pride. Pride is a crazy yet lovable boy who is extremely trustworthy and nosy. He loves to mess around with any object around you just to get your attention. Pride is my dream horse!
