BIO

My name is Mikalah Marbach. I am 19 years old, and I am a student at Washington State University. I started my horse career with a rope horse named Mister. Together we went to Washington State Horseman shows, 4-H shows and Rodeos. He carried me through my 2 years as a Rodeo Queen. When I retired him that’s when I got Jackie. I love to hit the road in the summer with my Lakota LQ horse trailer, and travel to AQHA events with my horse. We compete in the Ranch Horse Versatility classes as well as Halter. We have accomplished so much together. At our first AQHA show we won Regionals. This qualified us for the Level 1 Championships in Las Vegas where we won the bronze. Jackie and I have qualified for the AQHA World Show three years in a row. Last year we qualified for the AQHYA World Show where we placed 14th. We have also won several state year end high point awards as well as a national high point award. When Jackie is on winter break I compete for Washington State University’s IHSA equestrian team in the Horsemanship and the Hunter Equitation. One day I hope to return to the world show and bring home the gold.
